One of the most popular acts from the 2006 festival will be back.  Driven by Alana's wild violin, chased by accordion and double bass, Vardos play gypsy and traditional music learnt from Roma (gypsy) musicians during their travels in Eastern Europe. Based in Melbourne, Australia, the band has toured to Hungary, Switzerland, New Caledonia, New Zealand and Scotland.
