The objectives for which the association is established are:

• Participate in the reconciliation process and recognise the Badtjalla people as the traditional owners of the area.
• Celebrate all cultures and acknowledge that cultural diversity enriches our communities.
• Encourage participation in the artistic expression of our time through shared knowledge, skills and experiences.
• Value cultural traditions through a commitment to excellence in all our activities and actions.
• Develop alliances with local small business, tourism, enterprise and government.
• Implement and maintain any projects such as festivals, concerts, music clubs, cultural centres, libraries and workshops that will assist these objects.
• Provide the necessary communicative and informative devices that can be used to achieve these objects.
• Represent the membership in any forum that affects these objectives.
• Co-operate and assist any other organisation, groups of individuals with similar objectives.
